The patient information section is located
at on the left. To edit the Patient Information, double
click on that area.
Also, notice the table of Insurance Plans for Family.
You are not just limited to primary and secondary Plans.
When a patient changes insurance, you never delete the
old insurance. The list of insurance Plans for a family
can be as long as you want. The Coverage area shows the
primary and secondary coverage for the current patient.
If a patient changes insurance, the Coverage area is changed
to reflect current coverage.
The coverage percentages can be overriden for each patient
in a family. That means you can have each family member
covered under a different percentage on the same plan
(we run into this a lot with incentive plans). If there
are exceptions for a patient that do not follow the expected
rules, enter it as a note in the insurance plan, and then
override the insurance estimate in the Procedure window.
